STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Description of Parts. ALUMINIUM PISTONS FOR REPAIR CARS.
Origin: To improve design.
Experimental Test Report.
The design is identical to the standard 40/50 pistons except for alterations necessary to suit different length connecting rods and dia. of gudgeon pins.
Road Test Report.
Run on test bench at various loads and speeds for 9000 miles. After this, run on road for 500 miles. When examined they were found to be in good condition.
