R.R. 235A (500 T) (S.D. 408. 26-4-17.) Bm. 2/156/13. Conference No: 6. - 3 - (7) contd. with the result that Barker's bodies are criticised adversely when compared with other make of car which has lower wings. (8) Instrument Board. X1362 Mr. Cowen pointed out that the drawing of an instrument board, supplied by Derby does not show provision for the ventilator handle, and has the fault that it gives the Coachbuilder the impression that Rolls-Royce Ltd. are supplying a speedometer and clock. It was suggested that Derby in future do not supply the drawing of an instrument board, as it is difficult to insist on customers using an Elliott type of speedometer and clock, and the provision of this drawing might be conducive to bad work on the part of the Coachbuilder. It was suggested that Derby should supply the rough temporary instrument board as used on their test, and that the Coachbuilder should return these rough boards after delivery of the chassis to them. ----------------------------- | ||
