RE BUMPING RIG X.3447.

It will be remembered just previous to the War, we were making a new bumping rig to bump all 4 wheels of the chassis The designs were completed - most of the parts such as Drums, Frames, Shafts etc. etc., are in stock. At that time it was looked upon as a very urgent job and we consider it should be still treated as such. We are already feeling the want of a bumping rig and we shall have to get the old one running to carry out tests on radiators. The point we wish to bring forward is whether the new bumping rig could notbe made adjust-able to take two sizes of chassis. We shall certainly want a bumping rig for the small chassis. The bumping rig necessitates a new building; the design for this was got out at the same time as the machine.
