re Experimental car 26.G.VI.

With reference to your Asy.{Len Astley - Orders}1/JA.13.9.38.

The original instrument board on this car was cracked badly in France and the present one was made in Derby. It will be necessary therefore for you to have a new one made to match the rest of the woodwork.

You will also find the arm rest missing from the N.S. front compartment, this was lost in France. Will you please have it replaced.
