660 S/W. (Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}) ASyl/JA/13.9.38. Experimental Car No. 26-G.VI. This car has now arrived at Messrs. Park, Ward & Co's Works and is being prepared in readiness for demonstration work. The Coachbuilders tell us that the Instrument Board at present in position is not of the latest type, and they have quoted for a new Instrument Board, with a larger cubby hole. We are told that the present Instrument Board is not the one which was originally supplied by Messrs. Fark, Park & Co., for this particular car, and if, therefore, you are able to trace it, will you please have it despatched direct to the coachbuilders at 473, High Rd, Willesden, N.W. 10., immediately, as it may be possible to utilise this and thus save the expense of a new Board.
