1044. To By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}9/MH.{M. Huckerby}2.11.38. B.80. With reference to your drawing of the induction pipe for the straight 8 engine. We now have available, a later version of the Stromberg carburetter to be used with this arrangement. It is desirable, therefore, that the pipe should be modified to accommodate this new carburetter. This will mean opening out the risers in the pipe to 42 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}, keeping the centres in line with the new carburetters. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C.
