SHOCK ABSORBER BALL JOINT - GOSHAWK X.4329.
Please receive N.sch.1261 shewing a type of connecting rod in which the manufacture of the rod ends is similar to those recently sent you, but the arrangement has been altered to provide for one-end adjustment only, in accordance with R's instructions.
We hope that this design will meet Derby's objections, from the manufacturing point of view, and at the same time give the single-end adjustment asked for by R.{Sir Henry Royce}
