To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. ORIGINAL EFC6/T16.11.22. X.4215 - BLERIOT PHI CUTOUT We have now completed for you the transformation of a Bleriot phi cutout to 24 volt working and are having this forwarded to you under separate cover. We also attach one of our diagrams of the connections of this cutout, in which the resistance figures have been corrected to this particular instrument. It has been adjusted by us to cut in cold at almost exactly 25 volts, and the amount of resistance inserted in the shunt circuit in the operating of cutting in is of such a magnitude as just to prevent electric bell vibration unless the battery voltage is excessive. The reverse current for cutting out is, under ordinary battery conditions, less than 1 ampere. EFC. Diagram attached. | ||
