Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to our Mr. Wimhurst's call upon you today.

We can make the Push Rod quite well and if you will send us enough steel for, say a couple of dozen we will make you up some samples. We are confident we can please you. We have made the Valves for 'Ford' for 12 years - a million and half a year - and we have not seen or heard of a broken Valve for 5 years at least. They are made with scrupulous care. We are enclosing one taken up haphazard; you may like to cut the head through and etch it yourselves. We guarantee every one alike.

Yours faithfully,
H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Pittaway

If you will send us a sample of your Valve Forgings we will tell you what size steel we should want & if you could send us a little we would make up some samples for you.
