BY MESSRS. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} STUBBS LTD.

With reference to the sample piston
ring in the above metal which you advised [crossed out, with 'analysed' handwritten above] and reported upon on
your sheet 59170 would you say if any alteration in this
mixture of metal is desired, and if so, perhaps you would
state the nature of this alteration as we understand
Messrs. Stubbs are quite willing to carry out any
suggestions we have to make.

We have not yet got so far as having
piston rings made from this metal on an engine. EFC.
