With reference to our E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/MN.5.4.37 and Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}1/AP.4.12.37 concerning our LeC.5601 of the built up steering column cam tube, we would be glad if you would instruct the still further cheapened scheme shown on RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}352, attached herewith.

We take it that this modification to our LeC. has been approved by the Works from a manufacturing point of view.
