x7960 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KT.10.6.33. GLN-60 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} is anxious that we should get complete records of C.13 unit which was fitted to the first Bentley car. We are therefore proposing to fit C.10 unit, which is now being fitted with long skirt pistons, to GLN-60. Two S.U. petrol pumps should also be fitted to this car. We have a pair of carburetters, induction pipe, and a cylinder head which are obsolete, and we should therefore like to utilise them for C.10 unit instead of up-to-date parts. One feature we want to test out in C.10 unit while it is in GLN-60 is ferobestos in the slipper wheel instead of cotton duck. There are one dozen of these pieces in the stores. Will you please fit. Will you also please hand over C.13 to T.Salt for test. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
