Arising out of the various discussions, correspondence etc. which has taken place regarding the supply of a special Gear Compound by an English Supplier, i.e. The Prices Company, in place of the Special Whitmore Compound we are using at present ex U.S.A. and at a very enhanced figure, the Prices Company write this morning as per copy attached. I have asked the Stores to pass the gallon of Gear Compound in question to Hl. Immediately on receipt. Should Hl. or Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} want further supplies kindly advise. Meantime if anything could be done to expedite completion of the tests with the modified Compound submitted by Price's it would help us considerably, as we are having requests for this from parts of the world where Whitmore's Compound is not really available.
