will not be separated, but for any otherpurpose it is a great disadvantage to have the driver's pass and the car's pass joined together, in the same way that an ordinary motorist in this country would never think of having his driving license connected up with any single car. Therefore he states that it would be much more convenient as well as being simpler to obtain separate driving passes for each individual, he may then keep the pass on his person, move about freely and drive any car he likes without interfering with anyone else.

With reference now to the passes for Messrs Salamanca and Holgate, he tells us that under the circumstances it is absolutely impossible to obtain these in England but that it will be quite simple to obtain them in Madrid, as a matter of fact Mr Platford obtained one in Madrid last year for himself.

We attach herewith particulars of the car that Mr Salamanca is driving, namely, 7CA, in case of the romote possibility
