8th January, 1932.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to your letter of the 17th ult. when you reported your experience with a Patent AUTOVAC Apparatus removed from your experimental car, this instrument has since been given a long and careful test, and it certainly did not function perfectly. On close examination it was found the Valves were slightly out of gauge.

This AUTOVAC was manufactured in 1927 and has the old type Float. Do you wish us to recondition and fit a Float of the new type? If so, kindly confirm.

Yours faithfully,
THE AUTOVAC MFG. CO.LTD.
