X-3701 CHASSIS - PETROL TANK.
CARBURETTER.
We have now obtained samples of the special mesh material for filter gauze that you submitted to us recently. We are quite unable to obtain this material in this country, as in addition to the actual material from which it is produced not being available we have also come up against the difficulty of getting the special weaving produced.
We therefore wrote to Canada and have obtained the quotations from the Company producing the same over there.
The object of writing you particularly is to enquire whether you consider all of our petrol filter gauze should be produced in this material, or on the other hand only the filter gauze in the carburetter.
We are sending you sample herewith.
BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
