(For the attention of E.W. Todd, Esq.)

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letters of the 5th addressed to Mr. Grylls, who is ill and away from the Factory for 2/3 weeks.

It is unfortunate that the design of our gear-box does necessitate a fairly thick oil being used. Our anxiety is to see that oils, not definitely E.P. lubricants, are marked by S.A.E. numbers.

As Mr. Grylls has been dealing with this matter, I shall be glad if you will hold it over until he returns after Easter.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
