S/W...ROY{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} ----- (967) PRICE'S LUBRICANTS. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}2/MG30.1.34 ----- I note contents of your memo. I see no objection to this at all, and I have accordingly despatched your letter to Prices. I understood from Mr.Brooker this arranging to fill up in the proportion of 50/50 Price's and Wakefield's engine oils is the value to them and is the reason why they are prepared to supply the oil at such a cheap rate. I think you will find, however, they will be very keen on having the labels attached, because they look upon this as the only way of creating the demand they require and for which they quote the low price. There is no objection to the labels, so far as I can see. C. PS. Your memo. is dated January 30th. but only came to hand in the bag yesterday afternoon. | ||
