Thank you for your personal letter of March 19th and for recommending George Eyston to use 675-A plugs for his record attempt.
I should prefer him to use these plugs just as they are as they have been very thoroughly proved in this engine and I do not think that platinum points are in any way necessary.
The duration of the record is so short that no question of point burning can arise, while the point formation of the 675-A should, in my opinion, give particularly clean ignition.
