COPY. The Cottage, Thatched House, Fishbourne, Nr. Chichester, Sussex. 22.12.38. Messrs. Peto & Radford, 50, Grosvenor Gardens, S.W. Dear Sirs, Will you please let me have a little advice. One of the two Rolls-Royces I have in my charge here is a 20/25 nearly five years old. When I had this car in at Cricklewood about 7 months ago I suggested to R.R. that while the car was there the accumulator acid should be changed, and I was told that they did not recommend it with an accumulator of that age (owing of course to sediment). Just recently I was talking to another R.R. official about various things and regarding acid he said 'yes, certainly change it'. Now, if you don't mind, I would like to have your views. Thanking you in anticipation, Yours truly, H. {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Longlands. | ||
