Re "Sluggard" Car

Mr. Swetnam 17-11-11

The following alterations to the "Sluggard" car are necessary:-

1. Steering column to be swivelled from the box so as to bring the hand wheel to about the middle of the car.
2. Side levers to be rbought inward.
3. Rear brake brackets to be lightened as far as possible.
4. Rear brake shoes removed, and all gear in connection with these brackets.
5. Wire wheels 935 x 135.
6. Carburetter inlet to be brought up and to end in a funnel at the back of the radiator in order that the air coming through the radiator may be forced through the carburetter into the engine, this giving a mild sort of pressure feed to the mixture.
7. Exhaust pipe to be carried backward and brought up to conincide with the tail of the body.

Will you please consult with Mr. Platford as to the details of these points.
