Mr. [redacted] c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7305. BY.6/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp}/19.8.32. Phantom 11. SYNCHROMESH FABRIC COUPLING BOLTS. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} 2/T.8.8.32. The reliability of the fabric coupling is more dependent upon the riveting up of the three rivets than the tightening up of the nuts. Personally, I am satisfied that if the nuts are well tightened to start with there should be no value in attempting to re-tighten them after the small amount of running done on test. BY.{R.W.
