To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} V206 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}19/KW.3.7.36. Bentley Anti-Judder Device, N.Sch.4846. This scheme of which you will now have full details is to run 10,000 miles in France on 6-B-IV. Although the scheme is almost certain to be successful as we have already tried the same thing on 1-B-IV, yet certain adjustments may have to be made to it before it is ready for France. This means 6-B-IV may have to go out with the front brakes Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}106 now fitted. Consequently we would like another pair of front aluminium drums making and the steering levers to suit them, so that we can send out the axle as a complete unit. The parts required are :- 2 Drums Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}55, exactly similar to the 2 recently instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}8/KW.26.6.36. 1 GB.2059 ) 1 GB.2060 ) Steering Levers. 1 GB.1545 Cross Steering Tube. 2 GB.1590 Ends. 2 GB.1050 1 FB.1430 1 GB.1382 2 GB.1056 2 FB.1429 2 F.60085 This is a standard part.
