Sidgreaves - MD}15/E.30.6.36. The urgency at the moment is to test out the parts made to the actual detailed drawings and ensure that they function satisfactorily. We are making every effort to get these pieces, machined from the solid, on 6-B-IV which is expected to cross over to France on Friday the 17th. As soon as we have had these parts on a car and run them, we should recommend putting two dozen sets through, which can be tried as and when desired. As a die will have to be sunk before any quantity can be produced, some delay may take place. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
