I confirm mine E65/EB19-10-26. We are now in receipt of a letter from The Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd. expressing their appreciation of our decision to consider the possibility of carrying out our experiment with built up units, in order to postpone heavy expenditure on moulds until the final details of the batteries are established. They add that they would not ask to be excused from preparing these moulds but if the money can be saved they would of course prefer it. In reply to EFC1/T18-10-26, I may say that upon receipt of a letter from Peto & Radford, informing us that the moulds for the Special Battery we were proposing to fit, would necessitate an expenditure of £200, we considered it advisable to write R asking him definitely whether we should incur this expense, or, for the purpose of the experiments build up two units with separate cells in wooden containers, and I understand that it has been decided to take this course.
