Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 25th. inst. and we are pleased to inform you that the special shock absorber castings are being made in RR50 alloy. We expect delivery of these in approximately one week. With reference to the plugs in the transfer passages, we are carrying out a few experiments with these and will let you know the results later. We are pleased to confirm safe receipt of the bellows, washers, etc. We are not quite sure as to the exact function of the brass bush on the valve assembly (HP Valve F 85592) and we should be obliged if would give us the diametral clearance between this bush and the hole.
