Our Ref. TCS/GH. 14th January 1935. W.A. Robotham, Esq., Messrs Rolls-Royce, Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Mr. Rowbotham, Mr. Kent has just returned and tells me he has had a long talk with you on the question of Pumps. From what I can gather, the only means we can take to give you what you require, is to put the whole of the Rolls-Royce Pump in the Aircraft Department, which means entirely different work throughout, and you know the addition to the cost this will make. What this would be, I have no means at the moment of estimating, but I propose to put half-a-dozen through this Department, making a careful record of the time taken to see what the actual cost will work out at. I trust this course meets with your approval. Yours sincerely, [Signature] ENGINEERING AND ALLIED EMPLOYERS' NATIONAL FEDERATION 1896 | ||
