S/W. (c.c. to Wst) WST X6135 Nors/GRFD.6.32. Gx18/KW21.6.32. Re- Smith & Sons exhibiting an instrument patch at Olympia. We should not like them to show one of the present patches, but no doubt between now and Olympia you will have come to an arrangement with them for much better finished dials in accordance with the discussion which I had with Wst to-day. Naturally we are very concerned about the complaints which we have had already, and wish to introduce the better form of dial as quickly as possible. We regard the matter, therefore, as being one of urgency. Subject to our getting improved dials, etc, which meet with general satisfaction, there would be no objection then to Smith's exhibiting a panel with the improved instruments in it. Gx. | ||
