The car, then, had covered 23.065 Kms. A full report was sent to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, as per our VA5/ET/31.12.36, after the completion of the test. We removed the white metal Main Bearings with the exception of No 7 (rear) bearing which was in an OK condition, and fitted a set of standard Halls metal Main Bearings. 1°- The existing Halls metal Main Bearings Nos. 1.2.3.4. 5 and 6 have covered a mileage of 28.070 Kms. 2°- The existing No 7 rear white metal bearing has covered a mileage of 44.115 Kms, and the surface of the bearing is in an OK condition and free from cracks with the exception of a suspicion of a slight crack in the upper half. | ||
