CYLINDER LINERS.

Various material of liners both in sand cast and centrifugally cast form are being produced in accordance with this memo. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/VS.{J. Vickers}2/JT.11.8.38. for tests on bore wear on our loose liner Wraith units No.1 and 2.

We are anxious to get these machined and finished (EW 1000) as soon as possible and would appreciate your urging of this job, when we will allot to the various units.

The liners are stamped to correspond with the materials in the memo. and as this is the only means of identity they should be restamped when the machining machines away the original figures.
