Dear Sirs, This is to confirm that we should like you to produce a pair of Bentley rear springs having:- 1. Five plates. 2. Deflection and essential dimensions to FB.2171 and FB.896. 3. Lubrication and grooving to FB.896. Diagonal grooving to be omitted. 4. Spring clip position to your requirements. 5. Rolled eyes each end with lubrication tubes pressed into the top plate, as shewn in pencil on the attached print of FB.896. 6. Normal load 950 lbs. 7. We should like these springs to be cadmium plated. We are arranging with our Order Office for an Official Order to be issued. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
