To C. from PN.{Mr Northey} c. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RECEIVED 21 NOV 1930 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x 4050. re. Special Dunlop Modified Silent Type Covers. The five covers sent for us to fit on to one of our cars were fitted to the Weymann 25 h.p. yesterday. It was found, however, that two of these tyres were so badly out of balance that they could be used only on rear wheels, for even after balancing as far as possible with lead washers, the additional weight of quite a big spanner failed to be sufficient. This is unfortunate and I anticipate that RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} will take the point up with Dunlops. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
