X4050. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/AD. 24th November, 1930. Messrs. Dunlop Rubber Co. Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. For the attention of Mr. Paul. Dear Sirs, Improved Silent Tread Tyres for the 20/25 car. We note that the five covers you sent us of this type appear to be rather badly out of balance. Two in particular were outside our present limit. We presume that these tyres were probably an experimental set, but we should like to call your attention to this matter so that you may take the necessary precautions to ensure that it does not occur in production. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
