We have now completed an endurance test, on the bench on one of the latest Lucas Windscreen wipers. This gives a good performance both electrically and with respect to durability. The only drawback is in the angle of wipe, which when compared with that obtained on the klaxton, is not too good. Our testers, however consider it just enough. With regard to silent operation a definite improvement has been attained.

We have now fitted one of these wipers to our latest car andthe performance obtained up-to-date, with the exception of the angle of wipe, is satisfactory. The latest wiper supplied to us has black control knobs, we notice that these corresponded better with the rest of the instrument panel, and give a more pleasing appearance than the brown type
