Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Childs.

We have sent to you today by post, 2 new clutch housings for the Rolls Bentley we were examining yesterday. These clutch housings have cones on the crank pins which have an included angle of 60° instead of 80° originally. We hope you will find that these are satisfactory.

If you require any further help please let us know.

Before leaving yesterday the undersigned ought to have drawn attention to the fact that we had left the arm channels closed up. In case this point should have been overlooked no doubt you will arrange for the arm fork to be opened out to normal again before the car passes out, as it is unlikely that satisfactory wipe will be obtained when they are closed up.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
