Description of Parts: DELETION OF WINDOW IN FLOAT CHAMBER.
Origin: To avoid leaks.
Experimental Test Report: It has been recommended that we delete the window in the float chamber on the 20 HP. because of the trouble with leakage. We consider the leakage trouble could be overcome but as we have no window on the Phantom carburetter and have not wanted one, we consider the window can be deleted to advantage.
Road Test Report: Several 10,000 miles were run on 20 HP. carburetters without windows in that chamber - this was a later modification.
