SEQUENCE STARTER.

As suggested in your telegram of yesterday we are sending you under separate cover a Phantom sequence starter main and relay switch unit, this having been removed from one of our experimental cars for the purpose, as there was not another available at the moment. This switch has run 4,500 miles and has been working very satisfactorily as you will see from the condition of the various contacts. The small hold-on coil appears to be a bit burnt, but we think this is largely the effect of the varnish.

Please return switch as soon as possible as it holds up the running of the car.

Will you kindly note that on first reading your telegram there was some doubt as to whether Phantom automatic switch referred to the automatic charge reducing switch with which we are experimenting.

EFC.
