Springs to drawing F.{Mr Friese} 71975 - 1100 & 1150 lbs. fitted.
Shackle pins N.S.F. sprg. - these are in good condition.
O.S.F. spring - rear shackle pin very badly worn underneath. This is due to the oil hole from bracket not corresponding with the hole in pin, it being a complete diameter of hole out of line, consequently this pin has never been able to be lubricated. We have ground a flat on pin, to enable it to be lubricated.

Undershield.
This should be carried back further, to take care of front of gearbox and sphere, as there is quite a lot of grit and sand flung on to them. Undershield at steering side will have to be made a better fit, as considerable amount of grit and sand gets on to pedal bearings.
