x20P To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}.......from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/IH.21233. re:- Open Experimental Bentley. We have discussed modifications of this Open body with Messrs. Park Ward & Co., To move the screen two inches nearer the wheel would entail an entirely new scuttle and modification to the front doors and a new wind screen. They estimate that this would cost approximately £70. We agree that this would make the motor-car into a practical proposition and wonder whether 80% of the advantages could not be obtained by the fitting of wind shields hinged to the end screen. This could be done for about £7. 10. 0. Will you please let us know what you would like us to do. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
