Bentley Open Car.
-------------------

This is to confirm that we will modify the screen of the open car in the following way:

We will fit a new fixed windscreen so that the glass is 1 1/2" from the rim of the wheel at the nearest point.

Side flaps will be fitted hinged to the windscreen staunches, and the hood forward stick will be shortened.

We do not think that this modification will cost very much and will be almost as effective as the modifications already suggested.

Will you please let us know a few days before the car is being sent to Messrs. Park Wards so that we can instruct these modifications, and we presume you will arrange for the necessary sanction to the expenditure.
