ST/HSV c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} o.{Mr Oldham} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}8/G.23.11.37. 690 WRAITH 111. ENGINE TIE. Referring to the engine tie shewn on N.Sch. 5187, it is understood that this is not now required, at any rate in the form shewn there. There is therefore no need to manufacture any pieces for the tie. It is hoped that the rubber pads contained in sheet metal cups, used on the latest rear engine suspension under the gear box, will make an efficient engine tie. If not, a rubber bushed tie rod will be provided. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
