To CJ. from CMS. CMS14/CM25.5.22. Re - John Hopkins, Esq., 230, Walm Lane, Cricklewood, N.W. Chassis 154-EW. --------------------------------------- The above called to see the writer of a letter reference Bsl/KW24.5.22. with reference to a charge of £10/-/- made by the Chloride Company. He contends that his Car, when the fault was discovered, was taken to our Works at Cricklewood where he personally was advised by our Manager to take his batteries to the Chloride Company. This firm kept him waiting approximately three months after which time they loaned him another set, retaining his own. The above charge refers to repairs to his own batteries, which he states is not justifiable. The Chloride Company state the fault in the batteries returned was due to overcharging which he points out, should not have been possible if the Electrical System on his Car had been fitted with a cut-out.
