re. 20-HP. Low Speed Steering Wobbles.

With reference to your memo CWB2/DN20.3.26.
This matter has already been thoroughly gone into. I have already dealt with the first case brought to our attention by JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager}

The trouble in this case was unsatisfactory working of the centre sphere joint of the steering column which joint had already been discovered on test as not being satisfactory, and had been improved.

A special test and inspection has also been made of the steerings to make sure that this trouble is not likely to be perpetuated.

The information as regards the trouble of the steering in this respect has also been gone into with our final complete testers. We do not feel, therefore, there is any cause for alarm in regard to this matter.

A Depot Sheet has been arranged for this job, but not yet circulated, owing to pressure of clerical work.
