Dear Sirs,

We have asked our Order Office to send you an order for axle parts to your quotation of Aug. 10th. As to the adjustment washer, we cannt believe that the hub is tightened up against the ball race as in some cases the taper would not be tight. Some form of adjusting shim must be used. On page 50 of the 1937 Cadillac La{L. A. Archer} Salle manual in the bottom photograph, such a shim is shown, and it is this piece we require.
