DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} +4613 BYE/G.12.6.28. RECEIVED 12 JUN 1928 SEMI-ISOLATION OF SCUTTLE. ------------------------- Further to our BY4/G.9.6.28. we should be glad if some settlement could be arrived at in regard to the question of dash and scuttle attachment for the 20 HP. chassis, for although our chassis prints show total isolation we believe that Sales recommend a semi-isolation scheme, and in cases of complaint the Repair Department fit semi-isolation, both to 20 HP. and 40/50 HP. chassis In view of the fact that you have now signed the standardisation sheet as circulated, the completion of same is held up against this Department owing to the fact that before the sheet is sent to BJ. for his signature it is necessary for cost figures to be quoted, and in order to do this it is necessary for us to supply detail drawings to the Estimating Department. We hope you will let us have something definite as soon as possible. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
