PHANTOM CHASSIS - SEMI-ISOLATION OF SCUTTLE.

With further reference to BY/Cgh{W Clough}9/G.17.4.28. with which we sent you blueprint LF.1032 showing what was proposed for semi-isolation of the scuttle on the standardisation sheet which had been circulated, we find that you have now signed the latter although you made further proposals in your DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M20.4.28, but we have not yet received your scheme. However, since you have now signed the standardisation sheet we must assume that we should adopt the proposal recommended thereon, and as shown on the above drawing, therefore we are acting accordingly, and a scheme will be introduced along with the cast type dash.

In regard to the number of bolts, it is intended to use four of these, two being placed along the top of the dash near the centre and the other two down the side near the shoulder of the dash.
