(4) Gudgeon pin end pieces as Bentley 'Aerolite' viz;-
11½° cone ends with .250 radius at appex of cone.

Should there be any difficulty in increasing the
width of bottom ring groove, Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} suggests that the
existing slotted rings be reduced in width from .177-½
to .174-½, for the purpose of getting a quick test.
