Rolls Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Sirs :- ATTENTION OF EXPERIMENTAL DEPT. At the last Motor Show we privately demonstrated (to Morris, Austin Ford and others) a new Direction Indicator, built along the lines of the street traffic lights. With one simple automatic switch all signals called for by the Highway Code may be given - by flashing signals. The invention is British and the device is British built throughout. We believe this Indicator is the cleverest thing in the way of an accessory which has ever been put on the market. We attach a paragraph or two of interest which will be included in our literature now being prepared. We think your engineering department will be interested in the cleverness of its construction and your purchasing department interested in the price we can supply it at. After you have had an opportunity of inspecting the Indicator, we shall be pleased to supply you with a set for testing purposes. In about 2 weeks we will ask you to be kind enough to make an appointment for the inventor and the writer to call on you. Yours very truly, WILCOT (PARENT) CO., LTD., [Signature] W. T. Grose. Managing Director. P.S. The complete line will include a rear indicator also worked in conjunction with the front indicator. | ||
