W/S. Bkl. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} RC{R. Childs} 6021. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} absent. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}3/R.10.2.38. Davenset Battery Charger. Herewith a copy of the memo from the Electrical Laboratory about this charger, as possibly you did not see Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}'s copy. Obviously it is up to the Management, and not to the Experimental Dept. to decide whether these people can say that their product has been approved by Rolls-Royce. It seems to me, however, that if we do agree we shall be inundated with requests to test such gadgets. The testing costs us time, and does not seem to do us any good.
