S/W....Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} C3/C2.1.32. Carless, Capel & Leonard Petrol. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/AD31.12.31 I entirely agree with your remarks, and sympathise with them. As a matter of fact I did not think this particular problem should have been brought before the Experimental Department at all, as you have quite enough to do, and as a matter of fact I have already told Mr. Leonard that no doubt the reason for the delay is that you have so much more important work than testing petrol, and that his particular 50 gallons has no doubt gone by the Board. However, perhaps Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} will see whether we can do anything from an ordinary production point of view and let me know, and I will look into the question in London. I am taking it that you know of no reason why their petrol should not be used for ordinary car work. C. RECEIVED 1932 JAN 4 | ||
